My Passion for Photography Through Experience

I am a passionate and dedicated sports photographer with a strong focus on capturing the intensity, emotion, and energy of athletic moments. During my senior year of high school, I had the incredible opportunity to work alongside the University of New Hampshire’s media team, photographing Division I football, basketball, and gymnastics. Additionally, I photographed spring football, arriving at 5 am, about 3 times a week prior my day at high school to get in extra footage for the team. This hands-on experience challenged me to grow as a photographer in fast-paced, high-energy environments and gave me the chance to contribute meaningfully to a collegiate Division I media team. It also exposed me to a wide range of athletic programs, coaching styles, and team dynamics across traditional and non-traditional seasons—including preseason, regular competition, and postseason coverage.
In addition to my work with UNH, I served as the lead sports photographer for Oyster River High School in Durham, New Hampshire, where I covered over 16 athletic teams throughout the year. Whether on the sidelines, courtside, or at the finish line, I’ve learned how to anticipate action, tell visual stories, and highlight the spirit of student-athletes through my lens.
This fall, I’m thrilled to be continuing my journey at the University of South Carolina, where I’ll be studying Sports Media. I’m eager to further develop my craft, connect with industry professionals, and explore new creative opportunities as I work toward a career in the dynamic field of sports photography and media.
